About a month ago on Saturday June 11th, 2022, we were able to bring back our annual event, The Black Market Creatives Showcase. The purpose of the Black Market Creatives Showcase since its inception in November of 2016 has been to create a platform that bridges the gap between the consumer and the creative by providing platforms for interaction and expertise. The event is known for being a market showcasing work, products and services offered and produced by local Black creatives and entrepreneurs. The Summer 2022 edition was no different! The Washington Post featured the Summer 2022 edition of the Black Market Creatives Showcase as one of the "The best things to do in the D.C. area the week of June 10-15".
On behalf of Status Apparel DC and the Anacostia Arts Center , thank you to everyone who came out to support the Summer 2022 Black Market Creatives Showcase. 🙌🏾💪🏾 We were able to make it happen, and are aiming to keep more coming in the future!
