When this design was originally created and released it was Inspired by the iconic "I Love DC" shirts of the 2000s. The idea was to create something similar to that but not exactly. Instead of the classic I LOVE DC text using a heart graphic, a Status Apparel DC spin on it was designed with an alternate “Leave Your Mark” character graphic. This design is meant to represent Status Apparel DC leaving our mark as well as stating our love for this city. The graphic is strategically positioned over the heart area.
